OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
Samoyed Rescue of Texas, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the states of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado and New Mexico. We are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating Samoyed's and strong Samoyed mixes that are homeless for a variety of reasons, dogs at high risk of euthanasia in public shelters, dogs surrendered by owners that can no longer care for them due to difficult circumstances, and those that are suffering from neglect or abuse.
Aside from our ongoing need for additional funding, we need VOLUNTEERS! Primarily volunteers with backgrounds in Marketing, Graphic Design, Grant Writing, Event Coordination, Social Media, and those who prefer hands-on work with the rescues. Experience is preferred but not required. Activities may include grooming, training, or walking the rescues in boarding kennels.
