Selah Creek is a residential housing program dedicated to offering a safe, stable environment for pregnant women and their babies. Our program provides long-term housing for up to a year, giving these women the opportunity to build a secure future for themselves and their children.
Selah Creek is a nonprofit, residential home for young women facing unplanned pregnancies. Through our Gospel-centered program, which includes higher education, parenting classes, and one-on-one mentorship, we aim to help instill strength and dignity in these women and prepare them for the years of motherhood to come.
Our Current Needs:
1. Financial Support: Your contributions will help us cover the essential costs of operating our ministry. As we operate out of a home, we face all the usual household expenses—utilities, groceries, maintenance, and more. Your support ensures that our residents can continue to benefit from a nurturing and stable environment.
2. Office Space: We are in need of office space where our staff can conduct private meetings with residents. This is crucial for providing the necessary support and guidance in a confidential and comfortable setting.
3. Expansion: Since January, we have received over 40 applications from women in need. With most DFW shelters and maternity homes at full capacity, we must expand to meet the growing demand in our community. Your support will help us increase our capacity to serve more women and their babies who urgently need a safe place to stay.
