SHE SHALL BE is a 501(c)3  nonprofit organization dedicated to serving girls, teens, and women by offering HER a community filled with lifelong sisterhood, access to educational resources, practical life skills to help HER problem-solve confidently, and spiritual counsel to guide HER to embraces who she was created to be. SHE SHALL BE provides support to assist HER as she navigates through HER life story.

SHE SHALL BE (SSB) is committed to empowering all women to grow in all areas of their lives. We focus on fostering spiritual transformation, emotional growth, social growth, mental growth, professional development, economic growth, and the acceptance of HER physical beauty. SHE SHALL BE believes in self-respect, self-determination, foundational principles, and the value of all women's great potential.

The SHE SHALL BE butterfly represents transitional phases of Love, Wisdom, and Faithwhich are the fundamental essentials that help HER harness HER abilities to face the opportunities and challenges of adolescence through adulthood. SHE SHALL BE developmental programs are strategically designed to teach HER how to build a supportive network, and she will learn valuable skills in a safe environment with peers who understand her daily difficulties and challenges. These include balancing life, health, mental well-being, and self-esteem, dealing with family dynamics, combating body shaming and cyberbullying, and setting career goals.

Mission

SHE SHALL BE mission is to help girls, teens, and women achieve, discover, and develop HER inner strengths. We aim to empower HER to be the best self and love herself and those around us. Our commitment is to help all ages set bold goals, be equipped, and be independent. By putting into practice the foundational principles, we inspire to be a positive change maker and to impact those around HER and the community.

Our collaboration with our partners and supporters has helped us design a robust program offering to girls and women the opportunity to grow, moving from good to better and from great to greater!

Needs

I. SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING

SHE SHALL BE award scholarships to high school graduates and women pursuing higher education goals and become financial stable to build better futures.

The SOAR scholarship is given to qualified recipients who will receive financial contributions of various amounts to be awarded at an annual luncheon event.

Your donation will help with college-related expenses and help underwrite the costs associated with the award luncheon.

II. SPECIAL PROJECTS, PROGRAMMING & ANNUALLY HOSTED EVENTS

We need financial support for our annual events, where we offer giveaways, and incentives to motivate and support participants in their learning and growth.

Our programs are designed and coordinated with progressive series of high-quality coaching and training activities that help girls, teens and women achieve educational, social, emotional, spiritual and physical well-being equipping HER to be her best self.

We are developing plans to distribute care packages for homeless individuals and shelter residents, specifically tailored to meet their immediate needs and provide comfort.

We are dedicated to addressing such issues as, body shaming, peer abuse, teen dating issues, cyberbullying, mental health, cultural expectations, and financial independence, that will help empower girls, teens and women.

III. GRANTS/GRANT WRITING

We are currently seeking a grant writer who shares our passion for making a difference in the lives of others, and whose expertise will play a crucial role in helping us secure funding needed to introduce impactful programs within our organization.

Their experience should demonstrate success in securing grants for nonprofit organizations, preferably in the areas of education and literacy, health and wellness, economic and community development, technology and innovation, and arts and culture.

Skills Should Include:

Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and well-organized proposals.

Proficiency in researching potential funders and understanding their funding priorities.

Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Familiarity with the nonprofit sector, including fundraising strategies and grant requirements.
