Shirley Charles Foundation provides resources and assistance to the Dallas, Tarrant, Ellis, McLennan, and Navarro communities through community giveaways and working with other non-profit organizations to meet the needs of all people.

Lonnie and Triss Jessie are the founders of the Shirley Foundation. It was established as a non-profit in 2011 with the idea to “enrich the lives of low-income individuals in both the Greater Dallas area and Navarro County.”  This foundation was a way to honor the parents of both- Shirley Jackson- mother of Triss, who passed away from breast cancer and Charles Jessie, father of Lonnie, who passed away from lung cancer.

Mission

Mission Statement: Shirley Charles Foundation (SCF) is a non-profit organization established in 2011 to enrich the lives of low-income individuals by providing needed community services in the Greater Dallas Metroplex and Navarro County areas.

Needs

The financial support of our donors allows us to continue this important cause.

Thanks to your donation, we are able to help our neighbors feed their families, learn important skills, have access to essential resources, honor their faith and take care of their health. We have worked with other community partners in the DFW area to expand to fulfill the needs of food and other resources through our agency.

This cannot be done without the generous donations of others.

Equity Statement

We will strive to see diversity, inclusion, and equity in connection with our vision and mission for the benefit of those we serve.
