The Sisters of St. Mary of Namur are a trailblazing group of women who have been a cornerstone of service in the Fort Worth community since 1873. They have spent their lives working with the poor, refugees, and students in education, health care, prison ministry, immigration and adult formation, teaching English as a second language, and more.
The mission of the Sisters has always been focused on service to others, giving priority to the poor. Today, we work in education, health care, prison ministry, immigration and adult formation, as well as maintaining missions in Africa, Brazil and the Dominican Republic.
