Somervell County Committee on Aging, Inc., located at the Somervell County Citizens Center, is a resource for services and information for our aging citizens and their families. We are a non-profit senior citizen’s service organization in Glen Rose TX for the past 47 years.
SCCOA provides home-delivered meals (aka Meals-on-Wheels) to our homebound senior citizens, daily fellowship lunches (M-F), and transportation services. Transportation services include doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and daily rides to and from the center for the senior citizens of Somervell County.
We offer in-house activities such as bingo, crafts, chair exercises, wood-carving, gospel bluegrass potlucks, karaoke, ‘42’ dominoes, chess, a library, and educational programs.

Mission
Somervell County Committee on Aging coordinates services to persons who are 60+ and their spouses. The aging programs provide the opportunity for seniors of all ages to maintain independence in their own home through involvement in Senior Center activities and the variety of services provided by the SCCoA.
