WHAT HE’S DONE …
We are in COMPLETE AWE as we reflect on the many unexpected ways that God has moved recently in our midst and directed Hope for the future. We have shared that last year, we were up 200% in patients. This year, we are averaging 50% more than last year at this time. Our parenting classes are bursting at the seams. We are seeing record adoption numbers! Our counseling team is providing encouragement and healing to many of our patients who have experienced sexual trauma and hurt.
WHAT HE’S DOING …
But what God is leading us to do is FAR MORE than mere numbers, pregnancy tests, and ultrasounds! We are offering advanced medical care like expanded STD testing, post-abortion medical exams, and now abortion pill reversal – Hope Women’s Center is growing!
Not only are we serving women and couples facing an unplanned pregnancy who are feeling the pressures to abort their child, but now those caught in the perils of prostitution are walking through our doors … and prostitutes from all over the metroplex are now coming to us for help.
Young women who were stolen and held captive in sex trafficking rings are finding us and reaching out for help! Recently, a young teenage girl who was being held by traffickers in Dallas, was rescued by law enforcement because of courageous acts taken by our team. That young girl called one of our medical team members the next day and said, “Thank you for saving me.”
Weekly, we are being contacted by women completely distraught and suffering life-threatening consequences due to a botched abortion. What’s crazy is, oftentimes, it’s the abortion clinics that are telling these girls to call us for help because they can’t or won’t help them!
We have had leaders and staff from countless clinics from across the country come to Hope to learn how God is expanding this ministry. National pro-life organizations have requested to use our facility to train teams and medical personnel from all over!
WHAT HE’S ABOUT TO DO …
Fast forward to today. There is 1.1 acres that is connected to our property that is undeveloped. We have been praying and asking God if He was holding that property for us. It was not available until recently. With the help of two generous families, we just purchased this land!
We are asking God what He would have us do. We describe it as if we are peering through spiritual binoculars and the Lord is making the adjustments and things are beginning to become more and more clear. As we dream aloud, we are seeing the Lord leading us to open a larger training center. Something that would accommodate our growing classes, that are currently growing, but also a National Training Center where we can host and train pregnancy clinics from across the country!
One day, Christ will return … and we can hardly wait for that day! But until then, we’ve got work to do. Will you join us in serving the LOST, the LEAST, and the VOICELESS? The Lord is calling Hope to be a national leader in the pregnancy center movement. Will you help us share with others that there is HOPE for TOMORROW?
Affirming the life of the preborn child, we provide medical and educational services to women in unplanned pregnancies, and those who significantly influence them, by encouraging Christ-centered, life affirming and healthy lifestyle decisions.
Because of the growth that we are experiencing this year, these are some of our most pressing needs:
- Hiring our own designated Licensed Christian Counselor to serve our patients who need additional mental health support and to minister to those who have experienced rape and sexual assault. We currently have a partnership with counselors, but would like to hire a staff member as a LPC.
- An additional mid-level medical provider for the expanded services that we provide.
- Filling our Cuddle Bug Boutique with the needed items to help new moms and dads in their parenting journey. We average 500 items distributed monthly to our community and patients.
- We provide a warm, catered meal to all of our parenting class participants weekly. This class averages 30+ in attendance. Your dollars will help us feed those who are coming from school or work.
