The Bethlemite Sisters have served the elderly in the Diocese of Dallas since 1955. Many residents have chosen to live at St. Joseph's Residence over other facilities solely because of the dedication and contributions the Bethlemite Sisters provide for its residents. Sister Adelaide, one of the Bethlemite Sisters, is celebrating 60 years of service at St. Joseph's Residence. 60 years of service highlights the tireless efforts, dedication, and long-term contributions of the Bethlemite Sisters towards the Diocese of Dallas and the DFW metroplex. St. Joseph's Residence is licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services and has a state-licensed food manager. St. Joseph's meets a wide range of dietary, medical, and assisted needs for residents.
As a not-for-profit, St. Joseph's Residence aims to provide a high level of elderly care to as many residents as possible. Since the organization's inception in 1955, the facility itself has shown signs of age and a need for repair and update. We plan to use money raised to make much-needed updates to the facility.
Founded in 1955, St. Joseph's Residence is dedicated in providing below-cost, high quality assisted living care to the elderly in a Catholic environment. St. Joseph's Residence welcomes individuals from any background. Run by the Bethlemite Sisters, they are the cornerstone to St. Joseph's Residence, and the sisters work here 7 days a week, in order to ensure that each resident has the proper care and attention. St. Joseph's strives to provide a high-quality well being for every resident and treats every need with great compassion.
