SWING! Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to creating positive change, alleviating burden, and expanding community for single mothers and their children.
Our vision is to provide resources, support, assistance and mentorship to children and single moms in need. We're able to achieve this a couple of different ways:
Homeruns provide packages of everyday essentials to single moms with all-star kids to alleviate financial burden! Registered single moms receive three consecutive Homeruns per calendar year. To re-apply after the first year, single moms are required to complete the on-line financial literacy course created for them, via our partnership with First United Bank.
Additionally, we encourage single moms and their all-star kids to join us for All-Star Activities. This is not a team or a specific group. It's a relaxed environment for single moms to connect, and expand community, while their all-star kids get to make friends and create unique memories with their mom!
We provide everyday esentials to single moms and their all-star kids!
Hygiene kits for women and children. Gift cards for groceries, school supplies, transportation (Uber/Lyft), and basic clothing needs, etc.
Gross receipts are normally $50,000 or less.
