Through our Broadway style Bluegrass musical, Hope In The Heartland, we are trying to reach people who might not have a relationship to God or the church. Through the theater event, we hope to connect with people who may never attend a church service, but who would be open to attending an entertaining and professional performance. Hope In The Heartland is based on a true story about a family who struggled to find their way during the Great Depression. Though it's set in a by-gone time, the message is as current as today's headlines. The vision is to see people of faith reach out to neighbors, co-workers, fellow students, family members and friends to bring them to Hope In The Heartland in order to have their faith encouraged, challenged, and even newly created. "When forgiveness comes, then the Light goes on!"

Our Needs

We are in need of production costs for the Hope In The Heartland musical outreach. We rent theater space, hire actors, singers and dancers. We also hire production staff like sound and lighting techs, directors, choreographers, and stage hands. We have to fund costs for graphic arts, printing, recordings, musical arranging, costuming and the building of set pieces. We need funds for advertising and maintaining websites and social media. We also hire the best professional Bluegrass musicians for the purpose of putting on a top quality performance. We also have to raise funds for our ministry staff who coordinate and oversee all aspects of this production as well as the ongoing ministries of The Master's Music Company and Chris & Diane Machen Ministries.
