Ukrainian Cultural Club of Dallas (UCCD) was created primarily to support Ukrainian cultural events in DFW area. UCCD tightly cooperates with Zorya Ukrainian Dancers of Dallas and Veselka Ukrainian Folk Singers of Dallas to bring Ukrainian art and folk events to the Ukrainian community in North Texas. Club also hosts a plethora of educational events for Ukrainians, their descendants, and those interested in Slavic history, art, music, literature and culture of Ukraine and other countries. However, as Russia started a full-blown war against Ukraine, our current efforts are 100% focused on fundraisers and events that support humanitarian aid causes in Ukraine.
As Ukrainian army puts up an enormously brave fight against the Russian invasion, Ukrainians are united as never before. Ukrainian Cultural Club of Dallas made a commitment to support humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine from day one of this war, and we have been working tirelessly to send tons of medical aid and hundreds of thousands of dollars of donations to Ukraine. We STAND WITH UKRAINE, and ask that you do so as well. Your donations will go towards humanitarian aid, disaster relief items, medical supplies, and shipping costs.
We are a group of passionate volunteers who love Ukraine. We dedicate our efforts to promoting and showcasing Ukrainian culture, traditions, arts, music, and dance. We organize Ukrainian cultural events, supporting family-friendly activities, educating interested youth and adults in folklore arts, and (since 2022) supporting events and fundraisers that aim to provide funding for humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine.
The biggest need is life-saving medical first aid such as CAT tourniquets and IFAKs.
