Our Needs

Funds are needed to fulfill the mission of educating the community about prostate cancer and providing support for prostate cancer survivors.   

  1.  Educational materials for health fairs and lectures.  
  2. Support for prostate cancer survivors and their families via a monthly prostate cancer support group meeting and enabling survivor-to-survivor counseling.  
  3. Maintain a website with educational materials and links to other organizations that provide support for prostate cancer patients.

Mission

Urology Research and Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing knowledge about the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of urologic disease through research, education of patients and through community service.

Equity Statement

Urology Research & Education Foundation is committed to educating all men on the importance of prostate cancer screening especially as it relates to men at increased risk. Men of Black ethnicity are at increased risk for developing prostate cancer at an earlier age and a more advanced stage than other men.
