$1,250,000 Goal
As a K-12 public charter school with 875 students, Westlake Academy receives approximately 75% of the state dollars, per student, compared to the average public ISD. Gifts to the Blacksmith Annual Fund provide critical dollars to bridge this financial gap and support the daily operations of our nationally ranked International Baccalaureate school. For this year's school budget, we need to raise a minimum of $1.25 million.
The mission of the Westlake Academy Foundation is to provide financial support for Westlake Academy in its efforts to provide students with an internationally-minded education of the highest quality so they are well-balanced and respectful life-long learners. Westlake Academy is a K-12 public school chartered to provide the rigorous International Baccalaureate program.
Westlake Academy is committed to assuring equal opportunity to all persons and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, ancestry, national origin, sexual orientation, veteran status, age, or disability in its educational programs, activities, admissions, or employment practices as required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act, other applicable statutes and Board policy.
