The Scholarship Foundation provides educational scholarships to deserving and outstanding students who are citizens of the United States and have been residents of Tarrant County for not less than three years. The scholarships are awarded to students who are working toward a bachelor’s degree, have completed 12 hours of academic work with at least a 3.0 grade average, and are enrolled in Texas Christian University, Tarrant County College, Texas Wesleyan University, or the University of Texas at Arlington.  All donations received by The Foundation are tax deductible in accordance with the 501(c)(3) designation of the Internal Revenue Service. To date, the Scholarship Foundation has awarded 637 scholarships for a total of $612,861. This year, 17 scholarships totaling $17,000 were awarded.



Mission

The Woman’s Club Scholarship Foundation of Fort Worth mission is to award and pay tax exempt scholarships to deserving students at accredited colleges, universities, or other institutions of higher learning who are in need of financial support. In order to insure the continuance of these scholarships, a permanent Endowment Fund shall be established.
