Young Life has been around for over 75 years - and our mission remains the same. In Dallas, we are reaching over 20,000 kids in our high schools, middle schools, and colleges annually - that's over 2x the number from 2021.
The Northeast Texas region oversees 40 local Young Life "areas." The funds given here will help support Young Life in communities that need financial support outside of their community to be sustainable. We call these areas, collectively, Dallas Metro-Funded Young Life, as they are funded by the entirety of Dallas, rather than their specific neighborhood. Areas like this include: South Oak Cliff, Duncanville, Garland, Fair Park, Mesquite, Oak Cliff, and West Dallas. If you are interested in supporting a specific Young Life in a specific area, please make a note so we can make sure your gift goes to the right place.
Our mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. We accomplish our mission by:
- Praying for kids.
- Going where kids are.
- Building personal relationships with them.
- Winning the right to be heard.
- Inviting them to personally respond to the good news.
- Loving them regardless of their response.
