YBC's AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Founded in 1995, YBC gives children in Vickery Meadow and the Lake Highlands the spiritual and educational foundation needed to succeed.
Our 2024 goal is to raise $100,000 for YBC’s afterschool program. We have a $15,000 match toward that goal!
Below are ways to help.
- $25 provides school supplies for a week
- $50 provides meals for a week
- $100 transports 150 kids a week
- $600 covers a semester for a child
- $1,800 covers one child's tuition for an entire year

YBC’s EXPANSION TO MISSION VICKERY
Located directly across the street from Jack Lowe Elementary School where most of the kids YBC ministers to attend school, YBC’s expansion to Mission Vickery will grow from reaching kids ages 4-12, to reaching teens who attend Sam Tasby Middle School which is also located across the street from Mission Vickery.
Because of YBC’s leadership and impact in Vickery Meadow, in 2022 Vickery Baptist Church conveyed its facilities to YBC. YBC renamed the facility, Mission Vickery to reflect their passion to meet the needs of Vickery residents.
The facilities were neither safe or suitable for children’s programs so YBC began a Capital Campaign to demo and rebuild Mission Vickery.
God has blessed YBC with $1,190,000 of the $1,560,000 needed to rebuild Mission Vickery. $370,000 is needed to meet Dallas City code requirements below:
- Parking lot-building lights, wire pedestal base concrete: $12,000
- Building sprinkler and fire alarm: $28,000
- Replace entire sewer line to-from street 3"-4": $75,000
- Install Vault with back flow: $75,000
- Stripe parking lot (wheel stops, HC sign): $180,00
