Animals Abused & Abandoned, Inc is dedicated to relieving the relentless suffering of innocent and helpless dogs, cats and horses. We make immediate and direct payments to veterinarians and food suppliers for emergency medical/surgical care and spay neuter surgeries for dogs, cats and horses that have been abandoned by their owners and are suffering from deliberate abuse, life-threatening illnesses, traumatic injuries and acute starvation.
Founded in 2007, the charity has made 664 direct payments to veterinarians and food suppliers totaling $286,245.16 for the benefit of 1947 dogs, cats and horses.
These innocent and helpless companions with whom we share life on this earth have so much to give us, yet ask so little in return. Surely we are called to a higher moral standard of love, respect and humanity than continuing to ignore the tragic suffering they endure every day.

Over-population of dogs, cats and horses is a root cause of their homelessness and suffering. Addressing this tragedy, and all of its bitter consequences, is at the heart of everything we do every day.
Our need to provide funding for aggressively more spay neuter surgeries, emergency vet care and vast quantities of dog and cat food, as well as many tons of hay and grains for unwanted and starving horses, is overwhelming most of the time.
