Belle and Sparrows

Belle and Sparrows is a by-women-for-women non-profit organization dedicated to serving and equipping at-risk and under-resourced women both locally and globally. Our mission is to provide women with income-earning skills and job training, empowering them to uplift their families in a dignified manner. Our team actively comes alongside these women, offering support and essential skills while sharing the redeeming love of Christ. By fostering a community of care, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and create lasting change in the lives of the women we serve.

In 2019, we identified a significant gap in services for women exiting recovery programs. This realization led us to conduct extensive research, engage in prayer, and feel called to initiate a sustainable business in McKinney, TX. In 2020, we established a safe environment where women rebuilding their lives could earn supplemental income by making candles while participating in job skills training. This initiative has not only provided financial stability but also a sense of purpose and community for the women involved.

To continue and expand our efforts, Belle and Sparrows has several pressing needs. We require funds to hire more women and scale our program. Additionally, we seek interns, volunteers to teach classes, provide childcare, and offer transportation. Donations in the form of Walmart and Target gift cards, office and candle-making supplies, restaurant gift cards, or meal donations are also crucial. We invite women to serve alongside us and volunteers to assist with event setup, administrative tasks, and other crucial roles. Your support can make a profound difference in the lives of the women we serve, helping them to build brighter futures.
