Camp Copass

A nonprofit organization

Camp Copass exists primarily to provide an environment conducive to Christian worship, training, discipleship, evangelism, and recreation. The ministry of Camp Copass was at full capacity this summer. We welcomed churches and ministries to the camp for their programmed events in June and August.

In July Camp Copass held five of our own camps. Our staff programmed one youth camp, three preteen camps, and one 1st and 2nd-grade camp. During those events, 455 campers made life-changing decisions to follow Jesus.

The effectiveness of Christian camp ministry is alive and well at Camp Copass. If you'd like to be a part of what God is doing here join us in the development of the ministries and facilities of the camp by becoming a part of the team through financially contributing today!

Needs

Camp Copass has been blessed to build a beautiful campus over the last several decades. The next major project will be erosion control. Soil erosion has been a slowly increasing issue over the years.

We will begin by widening the road into the camp, our causeway. It must be both widened and stabilized. The second area to be secured is at the east end of the camp. A sea wall must be built to protect the camp and the future of this peninsula. Engineers and specialized construction teams will be used. We are in the early stages of receiving an initial cost estimate for the project.

Footage of soil erosion may be seen in the gallery below.
