Camp LADDER serves female students in the Dallas Independent School District and have mentored students who were not enrolled in a career cluster providing them the opportunity to work alongside career firefighters, arson investigators and paramedics. The organization has provided CPR training certifying over 100 students. These certifications has provided employment opportunities for many of the students. Mental health exercises for awareness and coping skills have been provided by a licensed therapist assisting students in balancing challenging family and social issues while attempting to be successful in school. All students that have completed the program graduated high school successfully and either enrolled in continued education programs or became gainfully employed.
Our Needs
The organization has a need for operating reliance/unrestricted program revenue for total expenses. Revenue will be used for full cost to operate future camp programs.
