OUR VISION:

A Digital Connection for All!

WHAT WE DO / HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT:

Technology is key to economic mobility. CARDBoard Project focuses on Closing the Digital Divide by connecting the digitally disconnected to opportunities, services and access to self-sufficiency.

We leverage technology to serve our clients who live in Digital Deserts.  We promote self-sufficiency through technology.

CARDBoard Project has designed a 10-Step Roadmap to Self-Sufficiency, a stabilization program to address barriers to success that individuals and families may be struggling with. We work with Partners who provide support through those barriers.

OUR GUESTS:

Residents of Digital Deserts - Unhoused populations - Moderate to Low Income - Disabled - Single Parents - Veterans - Returning Citizens - Unemployed/under employed

Our current focus is on the Digital Deserts in these zip codes: 75215, 75210, 75216, 75217, 75228

And we are looking to expand our program to other locations in Collin County.

PARTNERSHIP / COLLABORATION:

STRATEGIC PARTNERS - We work with a variety of Strategic Partners who provide excellent services and/or locations where our guests congregate.

EMPLOYERS = We also Collaborate with Employers and Employment Services that offer job opportunities, often working with them on Job Fairs.

Goal: Serve 30 more individuals in 2023 through the Device Loan Program

In order to do so, we need to raise $25,000. The funding would finance a laptop, hotspot, unlimited data for 12 months, and a Digital Backpack with a USB and stationery for each guest.
