Caring Pathways of Carrollton

Caring Pathways of Carrollton is a non-profit organization providing an integrated, compassionate day program to underserved adults (18+) with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At the core of our organization is our commitment to provide a place where all people have value, dignity, and voice, where challenges are met through meaningful, engaging activities, and where we celebrate ability over disability.

Our Needs

HELP US CONTINUE TO GROW! Last year, we shared that our facility had reached full capacity. Thanks to your generous donations, we recently expanded and welcomed new clients! However, we continue to receive calls from parents searching for a quality day program for their sons and daughters. Young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are vastly underserved, and the demand for our services remains high. Our clients come from Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Richardson, Allen, Prosper, Lake Highlands and beyond. At Caring Pathways we're proud to offer a unique program where our clients stay busy, learning and engaged all day long. 

As part of our commitment to community involvement, we regularly venture into the community. Unfortunately, we've been limited to outings within walking distance. This year, we aim to change that. A portion of NTGD donations will go toward the purchase of a van, enabling us to expand our clients' community experiences. 

We rely heavily on the generosity of supporters like you to keep our doors open. While many of our clients receive some state support to attend our day program, these funds fall short of what's needed to maintain the quality we strive for.  By law, we are unable to charge more, so fundraising is essential to our existence. Along with the van, your donations will help cover programming, insurance, supplies, outings, utilities, and more.
