The Carroll Dragon Band is the instrumental music program for the Carroll Independent School District in Southlake, Texas. Under the leadership of CISD Director of Bands Ken Johnson, the Dragon Band offers performance opportunities in marching, concert, and jazz bands to some 350 students, grades 9-12, from Carroll High School and Carroll Senior High School.
A recognized leader among Texas schools, Carroll ISD boasts some of the most successful academic, athletic, and musical programs in the nation. The Dragon Band is proud of its role in helping every Carroll ISD student "Protect the Tradition."
The students and faculty of the Dragon Band work hard, work as a family, and live each day according to the band's motto: "WITH PRIDE!"
The purpose of the Carroll Independent School District Band Boosters is to support and promote the CISD band program and its directors, at all levels, through volunteers, organizational support, financial support, and community involvement.
