The mission of Dallas Afterschool is to level the playing field for children of all races and economic backgrounds by increasing access to high-quality out-of-school-time (OST) programs. We improve the afterschool and summer experience for 19,000 students at over 250 programs throughout Dallas County.
The mission of Dallas Afterschool is to level the playing field for children of all races and economic backgrounds by increasing access to safe, high-quality out-of-school-time programs. We do this by supporting programs and staff, informing community stakeholders, and coordinating resources.
We envision a community with the resources and the will to provide impactful learning beyond the school day for all children.
For every $10,000 raised, Dallas Afterschool can ensure 100 students experiencing educational disadvantages have access to safe, high-quality afterschool and summer programming.
