Our Needs

Our primary needs have to do with funds for paying the various veterinary clinics and specialists that we use to care for the rescue dachshunds and for equipment used with the rescue dachshunds (food, crates, leashes, harnesses, etc.)

Mission

DFW Dachshund Rescue Foundation is an organization whose mission is to rescue and re-home stray and abandoned purebred dachshunds whose age, health and temperament render them suitable for re-homing in an appropriately screened home.

Needs

The main needs for our organization is funding for regular and specialist veterinary care for dachshunds in our program along with regular equipment needed for care for dogs. This equipment would include such items as crates, collars, leashes, medication, harnesses, etc.
