Dream Big - PSP Counseling is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2018 to meet the growing mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults in Fort Worth and surrounding areas. Since 2020, Dream Big - PSP Counseling has expanded to provide telehealth services, which allows us to reach clients throughout Texas.
. Our mission is to provide quality mental health care to underserved and uninsured individuals, breaking down barriers due to socio-economic challenges and language differences.
Dream Big - PSP Counseling is volunteer run and has raised funds through community-focused events. These efforts, along with our some grant from BNSF, Communities Foundation and North Texas Giving Day allow us to offer transformative programs like the Color Me Creative Camp for uninsured children and teens. Data shows that participants in this camp are 93% less likely to require higher levels of care such as partial or inpatient hospitalization.
In addition to providing clinical care, Dream Big - PSP Counseling aims to destigmatize mental health and encourage families - both English and Spanish Speaking - to start having conversations about mental health well-being.
Dream Big - PSP Counseling knows we cannot do this work alone and thus has created partnerships with other local organizations such as The Northside Neighborhood Association, Artes de La Rosa, the Jordan Elizabeth Harris Foundation, Shine Bright Like Bella, the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Fort Worth ISD and the Me tal Health Connection. We believe that by creating these partnerships, we can better serve our community.
