We provide services to victims of violent crimes, both men and women and their families. These services help clients become more self-sufficient and be able to function in the community again. Services we offer include a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, peer counseling, emergency transportation to safe shelters, community education, various classes, and other support as defined below. We try to assist our clients in any way we can.
Mission
Fannin County Family Crisis Center is an organization that counsels and supports individuals and families in a crisis due to sexual assault, physical trauma and emotional abuse. Our Mission is to help individuals take control of their lives, know what their options are and assist them in realizing them. We are a nonprofit organization that cares for the people of Fannin County.
Needs
We have many needs at the Crisis Center! We collect and distribute fans in the summer, and heaters, coats, and blankets in the winter. We provide toys and Christmas dinners for our clients and others in need in Fannin County. We have a pantry that keeps food, hygiene items, and diapers. We assist clients, when possible, with deposits and utility payments. We also offer emergency transportation for clients that need to get to a safe shelter. When we have the funds, we keep gas vouchers for our clients. We also have many events scheduled in the upcoming months that funds may be used to help prepare for.

With the items on this list, our hope is to help make our space more trauma-informed for our clients and their children when they come to the Crisis Center.
