Kimiya developed Fight Club as a 12-week program in Dallas that combines boxing, yoga and therapy for women who are survivors of trauma as a result of interpersonal trauma. Fight Club is a resource for women in Dallas struggling to restore agency because of a lack of access, affordability and the stigma associated with mental health care.

Our trauma-informed holistic program guides women through a healing journey with the option to continue their individual counseling at no cost to them thanks to our partnership with the organization Trauma Support Services.

Our Needs

Our current need is funding so that we can serve women of all socioeconomic backgrounds - to fund scholarships, instructors, therapists and course material. We are also working toward expanding with dance and art therapy.

Mission

Kimiya Fight Club is trauma therapy program that combines different movement and therapy forms for women in Dallas.

Needs

Financial support to fund instructors, therapists and program material for our program and to expand to provide dance and art therapy.

Equity Statement

We provide a safe space that values different experiences, trauma and healing journeys for women in our community.
