FOR LOVE & ART® primarily serves seniors in senior communities, assisted living, memory care, and hospice care. Our "Art Angel Docents" use Art therapeutically to bring  Beauty, Joy, and Love to people confronted with loneliness, worry, and personal loss.

Aligned with the outreach missions of 30+  partner museums worldwide, we showcase their masterpieces in individual and group settings via in-person and virtual presentations named "Celebrating the Art Experience (CAE)."  Using high-quality curated works of Art, we engage participants in reflecting, remembering, and sharing their experiences while viewing. Celebrating the Art Experience engenders great love and camaraderie, uniquely entertains, and gives everyone a voice, triggering self-expressions that people are eager to share and others are eager to hear. Tips on art appreciation and some background on the artwork satisfy the curious participants. Celebrating the Art Experience elevates every aspect of quality of life - psychosocially, cognitively, spiritually, and physically. 100% of participants declare our one-hour program "Enriching, engaging, and fun!"

Philosophers muse, 'Beauty will save the world,' and 'Love conquers all.' For those we serve and their caregivers, these words ring true. The transformative power of art brings hope, joy, and healing, inspiring love, optimism, and a brighter tomorrow.

To celebrate Art is to celebrate Life! It's a joyful, uplifting experience that brings people together and enriches our shared human experience.

Our Needs

* "Adopt a Hospice" by providing a year's worth of curated high-quality engagement to an impoverished community ($1800).

* Continue to retain and recruit "Art Angel Docent" volunteers.

* Update technology and data collection for future fundraising.

Giving Activity

Mission

The mission of For Love & Art is to elevate the quality of life of seniors by providing them with therapeutic, curated visual arts programs that promote cognitive interaction, a sense of well-being and joy.

We encourage art appreciation while enabling professional and volunteer caregivers to use fine art masterpieces to engage and stimulate cognitive interaction.

Our context for art is not merely education or aesthetic, rather therapeutic engagement, one-on-one personal interaction, through which all participants are known, respected, loved, and honored..
