Gill Children's Services

Gill Children's Services provides emergency financial assistance to children in Tarrant County.

Children in Tarrant County are told "no". Whether they have been declined from a program because of their age, income, citizenship status, or insurance status, whether they have been wait-listed because of limited resources, thousands of local children are left with unmet needs.

Gill Children's Services provides these children with a safety net. We disburse critical funding to meet their needs. Gill may assist when:

• a child with no dental insurance and a painful toothache needs a root canal, or when
• a child needs to attend summer school to make up for medical absences after fighting an illness, or when
• a child needs daycare after their parent secured a full-time job and before they receive their first paycheck, or when
• a child needs a psychological evaluation that their public school cannot provide and Medicaid will not cover, and much more.

Because of you, Gill has provided funding for over 75,000 unmet needs since its founding in 1979.
