A 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed in 2012, Granbury Theatre Company performs at the beautiful historic Granbury Opera House, which underwent a $3.5 million renovation in 2012 making it a state-of-the-art venue. Our primary focus is producing live musicals and stage plays. Our Broadway on the Brazos season consists of 9 productions annually, each running 12-24 performances over 3-5 weekends. Additionally, we also present live concerts and variety shows throughout the year encompassing a broad range of musical tastes and interests. We have something on the Opera House stage for 51 out 52 weekends each years. In addition, Granbury Theatre Academy provides educational opportunities in voice, dance, acting, and instrumentation for children, youth, and adults.
Our mission is to enrich the community with high-quality, family-friendly entertainment that inspires, entertains and informs; to provide volunteer opportunities to community members; and, to offer ongoing education and experience in the performing arts.
Granbury Theatre Academy scholarships for students enrolled in acting/music/dance classes as well as attending Junior Theater Festival
Granbury Theatre Company is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion for employees as well as performers, artists, and academy students.
