A classical education in a public charter school.
What is a classical education?
Picture yourself in museum gallery that stretches so far that its end disappears from view. On the walls, you'll find an array of paintings, both grand and intimate. Marble sculptures are scattered throughout.
However, this museum isn't solely dedicated to art. As you start your journey down the gallery, you'll see several large rooms branching off from the main gallery.
In one room, you see a full-sized tyrannosaurus rex skeleton. In the next room, you find a large window offering a view into a lab, where men and women in white coats are diligently at work.
This museum holds an abundance of objects and knowledge, enough to occupy a lifetime.
That’s what classical education is like. It is a return to the ancient goal of education: empowering individuals to think critically and learn independently.
We are a public charter school.
As a a public school, we educate any child regardless of ability or socio-economic background.
As a charter school, we do not rely on local property tax revenue. We have to supplement our funding from the state with financial support from our community. No gift is too small, no gift is too large.
