This year, we ask you to give local, to show your love for Oak Cliff. When you give local, you give to your neighbors and your neighborhood. And you get to see the results. Plus, with our matching sponsors, like State Farm Agent Ray Scott (thank you, Ray!), your donations can double.

If you already support our organization through your membership and attendance, we thank you. But for this year’s NTX Giving Day campaign, we’re asking for more – so that we can do more. With your help, we can do more grants. We can do more events. We can make more of a difference.

About HOC

Founded as the Old Oak Cliff Conservation League in 1975, Heritage Oak Cliff (HOC) is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that helps Oak Cliff neighborhoods with projects, development, preservation, and community events.

Giving Day Celebration Event

Join us in Oak Cliff on Thursday, September 19, 2024 – North Texas Giving Day – 5 to 8 p.m. in Oscar's Room at La Calle Doce Restaurante, 415 West 12th Street, Dallas. We're having a big celebration to thank our donors and celebrate HOC's community involvement.

Mission

Heritage Oak Cliff

• Provides grants for neighborhoods.

• Helps neighborhoods with zoning and development.

• Hosts events and tours highlighting Oak Cliff.

• Strengthens neighborhoods with training and encouragement.

• Gives neighborhoods a voice.

Heritage Oak Cliff provides large and small grants for Oak Cliff neighborhoods, especially to help under-resourced and underserved neighborhoods reach their full potential. Our grant process helps neighborhoods to identify their priorities and to work on solutions. Improvement projects include murals, median landscaping, sidewalks and restoration projects.

Needs

Join us for this year's "Fall Home Tour" on Saturday and Sunday, October 26 and 27, from Noon to 5 p.m. each day. You will walk away inspired by these ten remarkable homes. The distinct architecture is only the beginning, as these houses check additional boxes including design, landscaping, artistry, preservation and craftsmanship.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance starting September 5th and picked up at Ticket Central at The Kessler School on the tour days.

Equity Statement

Heritage Oak Cliff (HOC) champions equity, diversity, and inclusion by providing training, services, and grants to member neighborhoods and by helping under-resourced and underserved neighborhoods reach their full potential.
