$10,000 Goal

As the Co-Founder and CEO of HREBA Housing Counseling, a HUD-certified, grassroots nonprofit, I invite you to join us on North Texas Giving Day to support our vital work in underserved communities across North Texas.

Our Mission

We break down the barriers to homeownership by providing free, high-quality guidance, workshops, and one-on-one counseling to low- and moderate-income families.

Why Your Gift Matters

  • Reach More Families - Expand our outreach events and community partnerships so that every family—regardless of background—can access trusted homeownership resources.

  • Fund Free Workshops & Counseling - Enable us to offer no-cost workshops and personalized sessions, empowering clients with the knowledge and tools they need to buy and keep their homes.

  • Create & Distribute Educational Materials - Develop and print easy-to-use guides, brochures, and online content in both English and Spanish, ensuring no one is left behind.

  • Build Our Team - Hire and train additional HUD-certified counselors so we can provide the hands-on support our community deserves.

  • Upgrade Technology - Improve our website, virtual counseling platforms, and digital tools to make our services more accessible—anywhere, anytime.

  • Establish an Emergency Assistance Fund - Offer short-term financial relief to families facing unexpected hardships, helping them stay in their homes while they regain stability.

How Donations Are Invested - Every dollar you give on North Texas Giving Day will be earmarked for program growth, staff development, educational resources, technology enhancements, or emergency aid.

Join Us - Your generosity today translates directly into stronger families, stable neighborhoods, and a brighter future for North Texas.

Thank you for believing in our mission—and in the promise of homeownership for all.

Sincerely,

Leticia Gallegos, Co-Founder & CEO, HREBA Housing Counseling
