Kids, Christmas, Volunteers
1. We strive to put handmade wooden toys into the hands of underprivileged kids.
• HCF has been making wooden toys for kids since Christmas of 1944.
• In 2021, HFC delivered over 6,500 toys to charities for distribution.
• HCF’s goal for 2022, is 7,000 wooden toys.
2. Christmas is a special time for kids.
• We try to insure that as many disadvantaged kids as we can reach have a present for Christmas.
• HCF currently serves 25 – 30 Charites.
3. All our Toymakers are volunteers.
• No one receives any compensation for their work.
• There are currently approximately 40 toymakers volunteering weekly.
• In 2021, HFC wooden toys won a Second Place and 2 Honorable Mentions at the Texas State Fair.
4. Ways you can help HCF continue the good work into the future:
• Cash contributions are deeply appreciated. Donations can be made at our website http://www.hobbycrafters.org/
