The clinic started in 2003 with one location in Lewisville, Texas and has expanded to locations in Plano, Dallas, and Arlington. The Irving DFW Indian Lions Club Foundation is pleased to be the sponsor of this project and has generously provided the necessary funding.Since its inception in July 2003, the clinic has provided care for over 225,000 patient visits. The services of this clinic enable the uninsured in our communities easier access to medical care resulting in early diagnosis and therefore a better outcome.
Medical care is provided by paid part-time doctors who are board certified in Internal Medicine. We have full time and part time paid nurse practitioners. Patients are also given care by volunteer doctors and other nurse practitioners.
We do not accept any Federal or State funds and as such are not obligated to discriminate based on income, or geographic boundaries.
Who We Serve: Primary Care Clinic is often the only source of healthcare for the unemployed, partly employed, students, recent immigrants, foreign visitors, and those on Social Security Disability prior to Medicare eligibility. The clinic is open to any uninsured or underinsured person above the age of 12 without regard to income, assets, or county of residence.

‚- We provide Pap smears and EKGs at a very reasonable rate.
