We accomplish our mission with three keys:

Key One - Food Assistance - The Today

MasterKey improves the quality of life for families with limited resources by providing food assistance through two distribution days on Friday and Saturday. Participants from Grayson County receive perishable and imperishable foods every Friday and Saturday. Those without transportation can enroll on our Door Dash program and have their food delivered monthly. Also seniors can receive more food through enrolling in the Commodity program offered once a month at our site. Currently we carry 40% of all Grayson County in Food Assistance. We are serving more than 1000 families every week. 

Key Two -Education - The Tomorrow - Helping individuals and families to have a better future

MasterKey Academy is an affordable early childhood program for children 2-5 years of age and a support program after school for children in K-5th grade. The program was developed specifically for children at risk for generational poverty that focuses on filling in developmental gaps that are identified in families with limited resources. The school setting is designed in a way that children from stress-filled homes will benefit the most. A natural playground is provided that inspires discovery learning in a natural environment. 

Adult Education - programs to open doors for a better life
Getting Ahead in a Just-Gettin'-By World - a 16-week program for those who are ready to take the next steps in their journey to break the cycle of poverty; After graduation, participants are invited to continue the journey in the Staying Ahead program that offers a financial literacy course, healthy boundaries, and social development. Children and teens are included in learning key concepts at the same time as their parents. 

Key Three - The MasterKey - The Forever
At MasterKey Ministries, we intentionally wrap all of our programs in ways that demonstrate the love of God for each individual. We develop relationships that provide opportunities to share faith, inspire hope, and demonstrate compassion.

Our Needs

Construction needs 

A. Roof extension from small pantry building to carport to protect volunteers from the extreme elements seasonally. 

B. Three sided trash screen at school needed to comply with City requirements

Gap funding for children that are enrolled in the program but are awaiting their names to come up on the Childcare subsidy list. While on the list, parents pay $50 out of the total of $150 tuition weekly so that the program is affordable for all. Gap funding helps to fill in the gap of $100 that is needed for each child. Without community support, the school cannot be adequately funded with the highest quality teaching staff.
