The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Professionals Chapter is focused on developing leaders in engineering and technology through training, professional development, mentoring opportunities, and career placement services. We organize annual events including Pathways to College (P2C), College to Careers (C2C), and our Scholarship and Awards Gala. P2C provides high school students with invaluable insights, exposure, and hands-on workshops tailored towards pursuing a STEM degree, and C2C is a similar event tailored for undergraduate and graduate students eager to enter the workforce. Last year at our S&A Gala, we were honored to award $20,000 in scholarships to undergraduate students at UNT, UTD, UTA, and SMU; and another $17,000 to high school students in DFW. This year we are proud to be continuing our BRIDGE program which matches undergrad juniors and seniors with professional mentors in STEM. Finally, we coordinate events with leading firms and academia to provide our STEM professionals with real-world skills training and emerging market insights. Our last big event featured Doug Gray of the SMU Cox School of Business discussing AI Strategy in industry.

This year we plan to grow our membership, organize technical events for our STEM professionals, continue to promote STEM and propel students towards rewarding careers, and award $75,000 in scholarships. None of this is possible without the sponsorships from our corporate partners and donations from people and organizations who are aligned with our mission to serve our communities. Thank you so much for your support! And look out STEM, here we come.
