North Texas LEAD

A nonprofit organization

North Texas LEAD connects college-degreed professionals with employers who value a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. NTLEAD helps job seekers at no cost by offering professional development and career support. Employers partner with the nonprofit by paying annual sponsorship fees, recognizing the strong return on investment provided by NTLEAD’s rigorous candidate vetting process. Alumni of the program have gone on to hold roles across all levels of organizations—from individual contributor to the C-suite. Nearly 1,300 professionals have secured positions through NTLEAD, with titles including CEO, City Manager, Senior Litigation Attorney, Executive Vice President, Vice-Chancellor, and Six Sigma Black Belt.

Our Needs

We need funding to support professional development for staff and job seekers we support.

Mission

North Texas LEAD creates a bridge between company partners and qualified job-seekers. We build a growing community of leaders by connecting top talent with top employers.

Equity Statement

North Texas LEAD is committed to connecting top talent with employers who foster an environment of respect and provide opportunities for advancement.

Our founding CEOs knew focused action steps to bring a broader range of perspectives to their leadership teams. Corporate partners of North Texas LEAD have encouraged the hiring of professionals from various backgrounds. Because of their commitment, North Texas LEAD candidates serve in management and executive-level positions. North Texas LEAD’s Human Resources Executives Network focuses on strategies that enhance the appreciation of varied experiences in the workplace.

We continue to be guided by the vision of Retired Radio Shack CEO, Len Roberts who once said “Fort Worth will never be considered a world-class city until people of all colors are able to live, work and enjoy the quality of life they choose.”

We offer hope that cities across our North Texas region and beyond will achieve the world-class status as described by Mr. Roberts.
