At Our Daily Bread (ODB), we take pride in being the only 24/7 low-barrier homelessness care center in Denton County. Our commitment to providing comprehensive wraparound services ensures that individuals experiencing homelessness receive the essential support they need to rebuild their lives.
Each day, we serve over 700 meals, deliver more than 500 supportive services, and have successfully housed over 50 guests in 2024. Our wide range of services includes basic necessities such as food, shelter, hygiene, and laundry, as well as advanced support like case management, mental health services, legal advocacy, veteran case management, job training programs, wellness support, and housing assistance.
Recent data from the 2024 PIT Count reveals a 20% increase in homelessness in Denton County compared to 2023, underscoring the critical need for our services.

Mission
We feed, shelter, and care for the homeless and at-risk in our community while maintaining the dignity of our guests and offering opportunities for a new start.
Needs
As an organization who serves anyone who walks through our door, free of charge, in need of a meal, bed, and other essential services, we utilize monetary and in-kind donations to sustain our ability to feed and serve those in need. When you donate, you are helping us to make a measurable impact on the lives of the most vulnerable among us by improving their health and well-being.
Year after year, our service numbers increase. We assist more guests, provide more meals, and provide more services. Your funds will support direct service of meals, essential supplies, and case management for those experiencing hunger, homelessness, and poverty.
