Sidewalk Advocates for Life

Sidewalk Advocates for Life's roots are in North Texas where the founder, president, and CEO, Lauren Muzyka, Esq., currently resides and where she spent countless hours praying and sidewalk counseling outside Dallas abortion facilities. Noticing the significant impact that a peaceful, prayerful, and law-abiding approach had on the sidewalk, Lauren responded to God's call to create a comprehensive model for sidewalk outreach accessible to communities across the U.S. and beyond. Since its founding in 2014, Sidewalk Advocates for Life has helped over 200 communities implement this model, including covering multiple abortion and abortion-referral locations in North Texas.

With the training, tools, and full-time support provided by Sidewalk Advocates for Life, communities have witnessed miraculous results. Through God's grace and the commitment of people like you, Sidewalk Advocates have witnessed over 13,400 women served and babies saved, 78 abortion workers who left the industry (including an abortionist!), and 27 abortion facilities that have shut their doors.

Though Sidewalk Advocates for Life has a presence at multiple facilities in North Texas and beyond, we can't stop there. Our goal is to expand coverage to every uncovered facility, with loving, trained advocates, offering women in crisis reputable, life-affirming alternatives to abortion, as well as resources for non-abortion-related services, such as pregnancy testing, STD, and well-woman care, and planting seeds for chastity and a holistic approach to monitoring their fertility. In re-directing business away from abortion and abortion-referral facilities, we are impacting their bottom line, hopefully, leading to their closure, and thus, ending abortion in more communities.

Our Needs

Sidewalk Advocates for Life's national team works virtually. In doing so, we're able to keep our overhead costs low. However, we are dependent on the generosity of our supporters to cover the expenses involved in providing comprehensive training, tools, and full-time support to both new and existing SAFL locations. The funds raised through North Texas Giving Day will help us continue to train, equip and support our current locations in the North Texas area, as well as develop opportunities to reach uncovered facilities.
