As we step into the new era of Southern Bible Institute & College, our legacy since 1927 continues to define the future of biblical higher education. As a longstanding pillar in the community, we proudly embrace students from all races and nationalities, upholding our commitment to scripture-based education. Our foundational values remain steadfast as we prepare servant leaders equipped to make meaningful impacts worldwide. In this new era, we are not just continuing a tradition; we are evolving with purpose, ready to meet the challenges of the future while nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
Southern Bible Institute & College holds esteemed accreditation from the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), ensuring the highest standards of academic rigor and biblical integration. Our credentials affirm our commitment to providing a quality education that prepares students for meaningful leadership roles in ministry and beyond.
We offer a spectrum of academic programs designed for individuals dedicated to ministry and professional development. Our offerings range from certificate programs for focused expertise to comprehensive associate and bachelor's degrees for a thorough educational journey.
From our Young Student Alpha Cohort (ages 18-25) to our seasoned Milestone Degree students (working and retirees), SBIC has an academic pathway designed especially for your season of life.
We are requesting support to fund our Student Tuition Support and Technology Improvement.
Since obtaining accreditation in February 2023, SBIC has been working towards Title IV funding. We’ve engaged an outside financial aid group to streamline this process, but recent changes by the U.S. Department of Education may delay approval by 12 to 18 months. We seek to raise $25,000 to continue offering scholarships and tuition discounts during this delay.
To stay attractive and competitive, SBIC engaged an IT firm to audit our technology infrastructure. Our aim is to expand beyond the DFW area and Texas, and inquiries for distance education are already coming in. We seek to raise $25,000 to upgrade IT infrastructure, enhance classrooms for in-class and online instruction, and equip faculty and staff with needed technology equipment and training.
