St. Joseph Catholic School has been serving the Arlington community for over twenty-seven years by "Teaching the Mind and Nourishing the Soul" of each student we encounter. Our goal is to deepen a child's ability to wonder about the world God has created, as well as help them possess the knowledge, Christian moral values, virtue, and integrity required to navigate the modern world in which we live. We have a challenging curriculum which explores a multitude of classical works of literature and poetry, engages in outdoor learning, teaches concepts through hands-on activities, and promotes collaboration and self-expression through seminar discussions all within a faith-based prayerful environment designed to foster the servant leaders of our future. Here, families encounter dedicated staff to assist you and engaging faculty committed to revealing the God-given talents present in each student. Through the high expectations they hold, our faculty have the ability to develop beneficial habits of the mind, body and soul of the children in their care. Our graduates are able to expertly articulate their ideas both orally and in written format. They readily collaborate with others and think analytically, possessing the presence and confidence to embrace the challenges of higher education.
Students leave St. Joseph Catholic School possessing a profound sense of duty to their country and fellow man, cultivated by the numerous opportunities provided them by the school to serve others through their work with the greater community and charitable groups such as H2O For Life and Box of Joy. At St. Joseph Catholic School, families find that through service and encountering the Transcendentals of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness within our school, we are all lead to a deeper relationship with God. Our faith is at the heart of all we do, as we engage in prayer multiple times throughout the day and attend Mass weekly. After-school experiences in Fine Arts, Athletics, Robotics, Band, 4-H and the like afford our students additional opportunities for growth. We are a community of Christians, welcoming to others, and delight in sharing our beautiful school!
Each year, we apply the funds raised through North Texas Giving Day towards our school's annual fund known as "Quest for Excellence." This fund has supported many needs over the years. For the 2022-2023 academic year, a portion of the funds will be applied to our Tuition Assistance Fund. Approximately 23% of the student body at St. Joseph receives tuition assistance. Our goal is to serve all families who desire a Catholic education. Through fundraising events, we work to help families achieve their goal of a Catholic education. This worthwhile effort helps families achieve the gift of a Catholic education for their child, who might not otherwise be able to receive it.
St. Joseph Catholic School provides students with a nurturing and prayerful learning environment committed to academic excellence, training missionary disciples to seek virtue, wisdom, and truth, in partnership with a community of active faithful families.
