Over 27,000 Minnesotans and Floridians will be diagnosed with breast cancer this next year. Thank you for engaging throughout the year, but especially today on Minnesota's largest day of giving, Give to the Max Day and Florida’s Give Miami Day!
(Those that give in MN - gifts will stay in MN. Those that give in FL, gifts will stay in FL!)
Our mission at Komen is to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer. While research is deeply funded we are also proud to have funded nearly $11 million nationally in patient financial support last year. Costs related to breast cancer care can quickly become a financial burden. Dealing with finances and insurance can be overwhelming which is how you can help!
Meet Tiffy! - she is not only a survivor but someone who is INSPIRING!
Ending breast cancer needs Hope.
Ending breast cancer needs Compassion.
Ending breast cancer needs ALL of us.

Mission
Our mission is to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer.
Needs
Komen’s number on need is funding. This funding is invested in three interrelated areas: Research, Direct Patient Support and Public Policy/Advocacy. All three are needed to 1) find the cures for the most aggressive and deadliest forms of the disease; and 2) ensure all people get access to the high-quality care they need. • Komen is the largest nonprofit funder of breast cancer research outside of the U.S government.
Equity Statement
To advance health equity in breast cancer care, Komen believes that everyone should have a just opportunity to be as healthy as possible despite their cultural or demographic background. That is why Komen is committed to eliminating barriers to care for individuals and communities experiencing breast health inequities now and in the future.
