TAGG Rescue

A nonprofit organization

TAGG is a PACFA licensed, 501c3 not for profit, Volunteer only foster based rescue that pulls dogs/puppies from dumping sites and over crowded high kill shelters and transports them to adopters and fosters in other states where they have a better chance of finding a good home. Over the past year (we are only one year old) we have expanded our network to Colorado so that we are able to foster dogs in Colorado and rescue more dogs, we have rescued over 240 dogs and adopted them to forever homes.

Our Needs

Funds are desperately needed to continue to rescue dogs and treat dogs/puppies to ensure they are receiving the necessary medical treatment and to be able to provide all the necessary medical treatment for dogs with more than basic medical requirements.

Mission

To provide temporary care for large breed dogs rescued from shelters, found as strays or released by owners primarily in the central part of the U.S. TAGG's goals are: 1) to work with partnership organizations to find permanent loving homes for homeless giant breed dogs; 2) to partner with rescue groups across the U.S. to move dogs from high-kill areas to areas with more available fosters and adopters; 3) to foster cooperation among rescue groups in the best interests of each rescue dog.
