The Haven of Love ministry serves women who are in the prison systems, county jails and treatment facilities by providing critical resources to ensure a successful transition back into society.

Since our founding in 1999, we have continued to provide weekly programs and services to serve the women of our community.

Mission

Our Mission is to bring healing and restoration to the hurting and broken women of our society -- especially female offenders and those caught in the traps of human trafficking, prostitution, drug abuse, and domestic violence. We strive to change lives through a holistic approach, dealing with the mind, body & soul through the power of Jesus Christ and through practical teaching of the Word Of God.

Needs

This year the Lord blessed the Haven with a house of our own! The purpose of The Haven of Love Women’s Transitional Living Home is to provide a safe place for previously incarcerated women who have chosen to make positive changes in their life while they develop life skills and continue their Christ-centered spiritual growth.

The 4 core components of our programming are:

1. Develop life skills (money management, job training and placement, meal planning, organizational skills)

2. Spiritual growth and discipleship (Bible study, spiritual mentor, Sunday services)

3. Continued education (GED, study skills, computer classes, technical training classes)

4. Counseling services

Our biggest need this year is financial support as we aim to open the doors to our home this fall and will need $6,800 per month to pay staff, buy groceries, pay utilities, purchase program materials, and meet the needs of the women we serve.

Please join us in praying for The Haven of Love Women's Home and for the women we will welcome in the coming months.
