About The Kessler School

The Kessler School ("TKS") is a vibrant and nurturing educational community that provides an exceptional learning experience for students from early childhood through elementary school. Our mission is to foster a love of learning, critical thinking, and personal growth in a supportive and engaging environment. At TKS, we believe in the power of relationships, individualized instruction, and a curriculum that prepares students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are committed to shaping future leaders and compassionate individuals through a culture that values respect, curiosity, and a strong sense of community. Our focus on the UNLIMITED experience means that every student is provided with the opportunities to go beyond the basics and truly excel in every aspect of their education.

The Annual Fund

The TKS Annual Fund is the cornerstone of our ability to offer an UNLIMITED experience to our students. While tuition covers the essentials—salaries, facilities, and core programs—it’s the Annual Fund that allows us to provide the margin of excellence that defines a TKS education. Through the Annual Fund, we are able to enrich our students’ learning with enhanced academic programs, state-of-the-art technology, extracurricular activities, and the kind of personalized support that ensures each child can thrive.

Participation in the Annual Fund at any level is crucial to maintaining the standard of excellence that sets TKS apart. Gifts of any size make a significant difference, helping us to create extraordinary learning experiences and to grow as a community.

The House Challenge

This year, we are excited to introduce the TKS House Challenge! As part of our goal to reach 100% family participation in key fundraising campaigns, each TKS House will be competing to earn points toward the President’s Cup. The house that achieves 100% participation in North Texas Giving Day first will earn the most points, with additional points awarded to each house as they reach their goal.

Gifts of any size count toward your house’s participation, and we encourage everyone to get involved! Whether you contribute through the 1999 Society or make a donation during North Texas Giving Day, your gift will not only support TKS but also help your child’s house get closer to winning the President’s Cup. Let’s bring out the school spirit and make this challenge a success!

Mission

Our mission is to provide an engaging, student-centered education in a nurturing and inclusive environment, fostering a love of learning, critical thinking, and personal growth.

At The Kessler School, we offer an UNLIMITED educational experience that nurtures every aspect of a child's development. Our curriculum follows the highest academic standards, including the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for language arts and math, and the Texas Essential Knowledge & Skills (TEKS) for science and social studies.

We integrate innovative programs like our STEAM Lab, in partnership with Techie Factory, and our fine arts curriculum through collaborations with Oil and Cotton and BOCO Music & Dance. These opportunities provide hands-on learning in technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

Our focus on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) helps students develop empathy, resilience, and teamwork, creating a joyful and inclusive environment. With small class sizes and personalized attention, TKS prepares students for both academic and personal success.

Equity Statement

The Kessler School is an inclusive community whose mission is to create a community of diverse learners who value individual perspectives, cultural diversity, and social justice. We treat EVERYONE (including parents, students, staff, families, students with special needs, guests, etc.) with dignity and respect.
