The King’s University (TKU) is an accredited, Spirit-empowered, evangelical university located in Southlake, Texas. TKU offers students a complete educational experience by combining higher education with practical ministry experience within dynamic local churches. This complete educational experience prepares and equips students to serve in the local church, the marketplace and around the world.
Dr. Jack Hayford, founder of The King’s University, and Gateway Church, forged a distinctive partnership in their time together. Prior to his passing, Dr. Hayford served as an apostolic elder of Gateway Church. Rooted in their mutual commitment to excellence and professionalism, both leaders aspired to equip individuals for Kingdom service wherever God gives them influence. This collective vision formed The King’s University at Gateway Church.
TKU’s dynamic learning environment and Spirit-empowered community enable its students to learn, develop skills and talents, and grow in relationships with fellow students, faculty, and with the Lord.
Mission
The King’s University is a higher education and ministry leadership training center that exists to provide biblically and theologically sound preparation that equips men and women to become the next generation of Christ-like, Spirit-empowered, transformational leaders for the global church.
Needs
The King's University is a nonprofit organization working to provide quality, Spirit-empowered education to those called to ministry. Your contribution helps us to continue to provide financial aid, scholarships and funding to students to continue their education.
Your dollars aid in global efforts to provide distance learning to many who are serving in mission field related activities, ministry to under reached areas and evangelistic efforts that many of our students participate in.
