$125,000 Goal

Since 1988, The Pines Catholic Camp has welcomed over 50,000 campers and countless guests to encounter Jesus and deepen their faith on 130 beautiful acres in Big Sandy, Texas.

In 2024, we reached a new milestone, hosting more than 3,300 campers—our biggest summer yet! We also gave over 200 young adults the chance to grow through our missionary and summer staff programs. In the past year, another 3,400 visitors joined us for retreats, educational programs, and special events. That’s nearly 7,000 opportunities for hearts to be set on fire for Christ in just one year!

None of this would be possible without YOUR prayers and support!

Thanks to our incredible donors, The Pines Catholic Camp continues to thrive! Last year, your generous contributions during North Texas Giving Day allowed us to make critical renovations to the Foundation Lodge, our main lodging for year-round programming. With your support, we transformed the Lodge by upgrading lighting, modernizing shower stalls, installing energy-efficient HVAC systems, and more. These improvements have enhanced the comfort and experience of everyone who comes through our doors.

This year, we need your help to
keep the momentum!

We're aiming to raise $125,000 to improve our
waterfront facilities, including:

  • replastering the pool
  • enhancing pool equipment
  • improving the lake's clarity
  • replacing the aging dock and blob tower

With $62,500 in matching gifts, your donation will go even further. Together, we can make The Pines an even more incredible place for campers to grow in faith and community!

Anyone who donates before September 19th will receive a Pines decal as a small thank you. All gifts — early and the day of — count toward our match challenges, meaning your donation is doubled! Thank you for your consideration!

If you prefer to give another way, we have several options:

  1. For gifts of stock, please contact our Development Director at kim@thepines.org or 214-506-8060.
  2. Checks may be mailed to 14833 Midway Rd., Ste 210, Addison TX 75001, ATTN: Development.
  3. Matching gifts double your donation and may be made through your business.
  4. Recurring gifts may be made through North Texas Giving Day's portal or at www.thepines.org/donate

With a firmly Christ-centered and relational ministry, The Pines provides a space for the transformation of hearts and an embrace of the Gospel and the Christian life. From the quiet of our St. Francis Chapel to the soaring thrill of the double-zipline, we believe that the Christian life can be lived fully with joy and holiness!

It is our mission to see the Kingdom of God come to life through the faith, fun, and friendship that we share at The Pines. Will you join us in our mission?
