Launched in 2019, The Kukhoma Project (TKP) runs a full-time Christian care facility in Lusaka, Zambia for teen girls pregnant due to abuse. TKP provides comprehensive care, facilitates deliveries of the babies, and provides skills training for girls and their families during a 2-year program. Upon program completion, the girls will reintegrate back into their communities as mothers, well-prepared and equipped to support themselves and their babies.
Beyond the residential program, TKP works directly with community members and government officials to provide educational and empowerment programs that mirror our in-house curriculum.
Our programs focus on the following core components: community involvement, counseling, child development, literacy & education, medical care, and vocational trade skills. Programs are designed to restore, equip, and empower the girls in our program, and Biblical discipleship is integrated throughout.
Our headquarters are located in Dallas, TX, where primary administration and fundraising efforts are spearheaded.
The Kukhoma Project exists for God's glory to rescue teen mothers who have been victims of abuse; to restore, equip and empower these girls and their communities.
